Our membership of over 350 families includes couples, singles, seniors, teens and children. Beth El Temple’s focus is to create a spiritual, educational and social environment where individuals and families can enrich their lives within a warm and inviting Jewish atmosphere. Keruv, outreach to intermarrieds, is part of our mission.

Affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, Beth El Temple is an Egalitarian Congregation that combines traditional Jewish observances with the modern spiritual needs of a rapidly changing world. At Beth El Temple we welcome and embrace diversity within our membership. Ours is a fully participatory congregation in which men and women are equally honored. Beth El Temple welcomes you to participate in the many activities that comprise the life of our congregational family.

Membership at Beth El Temple is open to Jewish persons and their spouse/partner and children. People of other faiths may not join individually but may be included in a Family Membership if their spouse/partner is Jewish.

We are an egalitarian congregation. At Beth El Temple we all count!

The doors at Beth El Temple are always open to visitors. Come worship with us at a Shabbat service or daily minyan, or sample one of our many interesting classes or one of our many exciting programs and activities. Rabbi Eric Cytryn, Educational Director Robert Axelrod, and Executive Director Ben Wachstein comprise our dedicated staff. Our membership is diverse and inviting.   • Family—married couple or two partners in a household with or without children
  • Single Membership
  • Associate Membership—for those outside the metropolitan area (does not include life cycle functions)

No individual or family is ever denied an opportunity to join Beth El Temple or participate as a member in any synagogue event because of financial limitations.
